GNU libiberty CVE-2016-6131 Stack Based Buffer Overflow Vulnerability

GNU libiberty is prone to a stack-based buffer-overflow vulnerability.

Attackers can exploit this issue to crash the affected application, resulting in denial-of-service conditions. Given the nature of this issue, attackers may also be able to execute arbitrary code, but this has not been confirmed.
