libbpg CVE-2016-8710 Integer Overflow Vulnerability

libbpg is prone to a remote integer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied data.

An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of a user running the affected application. Failed exploit attempts may result in a denial-of-service condition.

libbpg 0.9.4 and 0.9.7 are vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
