Mozilla fixes five critical Firefox flaws

Mozilla Corporation has fixed five known, critical flaws in its popular Firefox browser.

The Firefox update also fixes three other flaws of high importance and a number of other, less important bugs. A summary of security advisories published by Mozilla provides a list of bugs that were fixed. More information on these security flaws are available in the vulnerability database, published by SecurityFocus.

Mozilla has offered innovation in the once static browser market dominated by Microsoft, and the Firefox browser has been under increasing scrutiny for security flaws as its popularity grows.
