SSH X11 Setting the Display Variable 2009-05-20

Is there a way to have the DISPLAY variable set the way that sshd sets it when a clientconnects with either -X or -Y option, but after the shell loads? It would be best of thiscould only be done if the shell was started by an ssh session that used the -X or -Y option.

Hi, this is on an aix v4.3 server. openssl and zlib installed fine, but i
get a zlib error??? I'm using the previous versions due to the aix 4.3

* Chroot environment for file transfer isolation
* Port forwarding on specific ports to allow vnc to be used under uids
which are not allowed ssh access
This provides an isolation between the interactive users and the file
transfer users

Hi all.

I'm using ssh to execute a command on a server. When the remote server
has an X server running, I get a/m message written to standard error.

Hello all,

I like to monitor (live) the command executed by other ssh user. "ps -u <username> " or "top" might help a little bit. But I like to have a LIVE shell based monitoring tool so that I can simple see the command executed by the ssh users?
Is there any such tool ? My ssh version is

but I have an instance where it would be necessary to define a very nice
tight regex to allow me to specify a command where only the IP address

I would like to be able to forward ports from remote computers to
different IP addresses on my ssh server.

For example,

I forward port 443 like so:

ssh user (at) server (dot) com [email concealed] -R 443:127.0.0.1:44300

and the server listens on:

tcp4 0 0 127.0.0.1.46312 *.*
LISTEN
