Hi, Thanks for the prompt reply.

I'm still a novice at libnet, but I dont think there's anything wrong with the program (tcp1 or tcp2). I've tested them under Linux, and their functions have been veried with Ethereal also.

However, I'm ske

Hi,

I finally found the source of my problem.

It turned out that I have 2 other VMWare Network Adapters defined.

For some odd reason, it was sending data out of one of those Adapters, eventhough the target address is not even within the

Hi,

I'm trying to get libnet.dll to work under win2k. I believe I followed the instructions precisely, but it still doesn't work.

Here's an overview of my setup:

Windows 2000 SP3

VC++ SP5

WinPCAP 3.0 binary from http://winpcap.polito.it/

WinPCAP 3.0 dev pack from http://winpcap.polito

[PATCH] sebek builder 2004-03-10
Frédéric Raynal (pappy-ml security-labs org)

Hi all,

Since I was playing a little bit with honeypots and sebek, I wrote a
builder for it.

You will need to perform some magic with autoconf and automake to have
the support of sebek in the latest libnet version (1.1.2-rc06) even if
I patched Makefile.am ... Run "autoconf && automake", sacrific

What's the latest information on compiling libnet under cygwin/mingw?
Currently both 1.1.2rc06 and 1.1.1 fail completely. Using WinPcap
3.1beta w/ Developer Pack and gcc 3.3.1 under cygwin. Removing
-fnative-struct makes configure run cleanly, but make fails right at the
start. Looking through the

So I've been trying to craft some icmp port unreachable packets using
libnet 1.1.1 and 1.1.2-rc4, but either I've lost my mind, or
there's some ugly bug hiding somewhere deep in libnet.

Anyways, I've attached a slightly hacked copy of sample/icmp_unreach.c
which illustrates the two errors which occ

Hi Mike!

as you have maybe already seen in the mailing list i was asking if it was
possible to send a raw ip packet in a similar way like
libnet_adv_write_link() by just specifying a pointer to the packet and it's
length.

i looked at the source code of libnet_write() and used
