1.1.2 is official (http://www.packetfactory.net/libnet/):

Fixed the ICMP error message builders (there was a pblock assembly
bug
that would prevent you from building more than one ICMP {unreach,
time
exceed, redirect} in succession; the order of operations has

Hi there. Guy Harris CC'd me on the libnet tip so I thought I'd throw
my hat into the ring and ask a question: how serious was the discussion
around unifying the two libraries? We've talked about it on the libnet
list recently (libnet list included on the CC line) and I'm curious
what your thoug

building packet with payload and protocol order 2004-03-23

Hi,

I am using libnet to create packets in a small network of two hosts back to back. Traffic I want is tcp/ip/ethernet. Is it necessary that the payload be attached to the packet using libnet_build_tcp() function itself? What happens if payload is left NULL in tcp build phase and attach it in

libnet dist missing low_libnet.h 2004-03-19

I'm trying to compile libnet for Tru64 UNIX and it's failing during the libnet_link_pf.c compile complaining that it can't find ../include/low_libnet.h.

Where can I find this file?

I've checked both the stable 1.1.1 and the libnet-1.1.2-rc-07 release.

Thanks

Hi, I am a beginner in libnet and I would like to do a very simple thing.
I have an ethernet packet that was previously captured by libpcap and I
would like to send it back thru the wire without modifying it. What I
did was to exctract the source, destination and type from the packet and
call lib

Hi!

I have compiled the Win32 version using .Net 2003.

When starting one of the samplefiles, it asks for wpcap.dll, and I can not find it. The winpcap version 3.0 is installed.

Hello,

Here is a patch that fix 2 bugs and perform some small optimizations:

- ICMP error messages: as Aaron illustrated in a previous mail, there
was a problem when several ICMP error messages where built (Aaron
used icmp_unreach, but it was probably the same with icmp_timeexceed

Does libnet support IPv6? Is there a IPv6 version of ISIC?

Thanks in advance for any response.
